Firefox and HTML Validator extension

Hi,

I just updated Firefox to the latest Dapper version via aptitude. When I 
load FF it now brings up a page at http://users.skynet.be stating:

  FATAL ERROR: The dynamic C library contained in the extension file 
could not be found.

So, I dutifully removed and reinstalled the extension - ensuring I was 
using the correct version, but the problem remains.

Any ideas?
