Fujitsu Laptop Issues

Try ensuring that /etc/init.d/powersaved for the overheating problem.
I know that I had to add my user to the root group, add my user to the
root privilages in /etc/sudoers, and then I had to create a small
script to execute sudo /etc/init.d/powersaved restart whenever KDE
starts. That worked for me, though YMMV. That solved my CPU
throttling problem which is the cause of most of my overheating.

HTH.
