Yikes! Perhaps a gui thing would work better then.

An idea for using rename on the cli:
(I assume you understand the hebrew)
1. select the hebrew with the mouse -> Copy it.
2. rename -n 's/<paste hebrew here>/<text to replace-to here>/' <paste hebrew 
filename here>
That should work.

(The -n is a trial-run flag so you can see the outcome without damage)
