installing user kubuntu (help needed)

hi

I choosed to install ubunto, the philosophy ist quite good.
The desctop is much more like windows in k_ubuntu, I think.

I installed it over alternate CD and text install, but it paused, because one software package could not be installed,

So I choosed to use OEM Modus to isntall, but this process asked not for the username (after text install done) just asked for "password for the new user)...


so i cannot start kubuntu, as the passwort to the username is not working.,


What is then teh username, if OEM is tnot creating one? the one I choosd with text install did not work and should be fortmated.


Why is OEM not creating a usersaccoutn??


how can I add another useraccount or recover the username?
