Firefox and Thunderbird

This part´s easy:
Go to ¨system settings¨, choose ¨KDE Components¨
choose default programs, choose web browser, select Firefox.

I wish I could figure out how to make Firefox work with any mail program.
I´ve never succeeded in doing so, and, as such, I choose to continue to 
use Mozilla.
