Well the moment you agree on "storing" the book for them and keeping it public (ergo you become part of the "library") you're in compliance.
I haven't looked very deeply but I suspect they'll be using a p2p style of file sharing.

Actually, I think it's a nice way to browse through books as you would in a store and then decide to buy it or not. Dead tree books are much nicer and easier on the eyes than the on-screen stuff.
