Now, do we remember the op's original dilemma? sure, a stock mysql with
everything in the standard places works super-dandy, but what about changing
some of the locations as he did?
I don't currently have mysql installed, but i do have a backup of krecipes db
that used it, I may install it just to see if I can reproduce this. Could be
a bug, maybe not. lets not completely dismiss this just because It Works For
Me.
