Java 5 Installation

Donn,

Thanks for the insight on initiating the bin file and for 
aptitude-synaptic.  I have not been able to install flash plugin after 
kicking off the bin file.  I know you said Java was not your cup of tea, 
so to speak, but maybe some can give me additional hints where to go 
from here.
