Quicktime *.mov video from internet

There are different versions. I believe I can only play up to version 6 
on Linux, whereas for Windows and Mac it's up to 7.something. I think 
the newer apple authoring software makes it so that you need the latest 
version.

See if you can play a .mov from another source, this link plays for me 
in both Konqueror and Firefox (even though it says it requires version 7):

If this doesn't work for you, you might want to try what I did. I 
followed the instructions on ubuntuguide.org. I noticed when I went to 
the site just now it went to an Edgy page, but I think they have a 
Dapper page somewhere if you look for it (if that's what you need).
