Re printer question

Just in the interest of fairness here...  HP gets my vote for easiest inkjet 
type printer to get working with Linux.  I've got some PSC something or other 
multifunction gizmo working just fine for Mom, scanner works, etc., and I've 
had excellent results with other HP printers too.  (I've never tried one with 
a built-in fax.)

However, since migrating to Linux, I've used nothing but Brother printers.  I 
run lasers, because I can live with out color, and when I print, I print a 
gob of pages.  Brother lasers have always done the job for me with no hassles 
at all, and I see no reason to feel that their Linux support stinks.  It 
could be better, like HP's, but it's adequate, and at least it exists.  Of 
course, I'm speaking only of lasers, and have no idea how Brother inkjets, 
etc., fare.
