Be VERY wary of Brother.  Their support for Linux STINKS!!  I have a Brother 
MFC-5840CN Multifunction printer, and if you go to Cups version 1.2.7 you 
will no longer be able to print.  So make sure this thing has good open 
source drivers or else you're going to be in my shape, with no printer if you 
go to any other distro, or version of CUPS.
