I have very lightly used MEPIS 6, PCLinuxOS, KNOPPIX, and a bit of OpenSUSE.
I'd have to say that among these, Kubuntu feels the most KDE-integrated among
all these. Kubuntu has made KDE their own, so much so that they practically
made many under the hood changes to KDE.
Perhaps if you could provide concrete examples/instances/issues, we would
understand the situation better.

Alpha software is never a good way to "get a feel" of how something really
feels like. Feisty is currently in alpha. Things break. Some things don't
work. Changes and updates are almost daily. So it's not really a reliable
indicator right now.
