thnx! that first link was the one the trick for me. yeah, i also heard or
read about some dude devoting this time to writing drivers for linux
support. i believe you are correct on that ATI/AMD merger thing, they've
kicked it up a notch. we should start seeing more changes soon as I've heard
that AMD is a big advocate of Open Source.
