I didn't said that SFTP is sending paswword i cleartext i sad that FTP do
it.
SFTP don't use the ftp-protokoll it uses ssh so dont mistake it for FTP.
FTPS on the other hand use the ftp-protokoll over an tls/ssl encrypted
channel.
