Drive icons on desktop

Yes - but if they only appear when the CD/DVD is mounted, that is _very_ odd
behaviour.  I think the default setting is to _not_ show harddrive icons at
all and you can choose to always show them, or only when mounted, but
mounting another device should make no difference.
