apache2 setup stuff

Stupid question time :)

I never had trouble in the past, but on 7.10 I have installed apache2-docs and
they live in /usr/share/doc/apache2-doc/ but I can't figure out how to
*browse* them. They are full of dead ends and other languages.
Is there a way to access them via http://localhost ?

I am trying to get back to my old setup of:
1. localhost/~donn mapping to /home/donn/public_html
2. Having the ability to 'browse' via apache, so I can change directories in
the browser.
3. Be able to follow symlinks to other dirs out of public_html

I'm sure I can get them all setup if I can just *read* the damn docs! Of
course, I'll take all suggestions from the lazyweb ;)
