SMB problem: mounting a share on gutsy

Nope. As I mentioned earlier, ping works, so hpxp is indeed in my hosts
file correctly.

So is it simply that in gutsy smbfs doesn't (as you say) work?

One wonders (loudly) why they included it in that case.

I guess I'll try later today to get cifs working, and just give up on smbfs.
