Problem with HAL on Feisty - notebook internal webcam mounts and unmounts endlessly

Must be one of the writers.

I played with SuSE for a couple years and ran OpenSuSE almost 
exclusively for two years. Everything was fine till 10.2 and HAL came 
along. After that I've seen more "can't mount" complaints than I can 
count. I filed a bug report and a few other joined in. Never did see a 
"fixed" come through, although there were quite a few HAL "updates" come 
down the pike. It works better than it did but still not like things did 
before.
