Disk Space for Installing Kubuntu 7.04

Hi,

I want to upgrade the Linux running in my old machine
(1 Ghz celeron with 256 MB RAM) to Kubuntu 7.04. The Linux partiton
is 5 GB. I looked into the installation page of Kubuntu and it said that
I would need about 8GB hard disk space to install Kubuntu. The current
installation is RedHat 9.0 with KDE. I would like to have KDE after my
upgrade. I would like to know if 5 GB disk space would be enough to
install the packages that comes with the Kubuntu 7.04 default
installation.
