Asus M2V motherboards

Sometime I need to do a system rebuild. What I fancy is the Asus M2V 
motherboard with a dual core processor so that I can try using virtual 
machines next time around.

Problem is, I've seen that there are possible compatibility issues with the 
chipset on this motherboard. Can anybody comment please?
