Why on earth not?  There are KDE tools that are supposed to deal with this
sort of thing, and I'm trying to plan the purchase of my next phone
specifically around how well you can do this with KDE, so inquiring minds
want to know.

And, fwiw, I've "hit google" for the info, and it's sketchy at best.
