The E2 does not have WiFi built into it. However, you can purchase an
add-on card that will allow you to use WiFi. Not having an E2, I am not
sure what all that will really get you other than being able to do a
network sync. I have had more success with the network sync to Linux
using my T/X (built-in WiFi and web browser) than with USB.

I am hoping to upgrade to Feisty this weekend and see if it works
better, it is supposed to be using libusb and may solve some of my
problems. I felt like I was getting close last night with the
information that Jose sent yesterday. But I couldn't quite get there.
The /dev/pilot was showing up correctly, but the sync just wasn't
happening, so I went back to net: and did my sync last night.

I have used bluetooth to sync with my Windows laptop at work and that
seems to work well, but I don't have bluetooth on a Linux machine so I
can't say whether that works or not. The bluetooth can be also be used
to access the network via the windows machine, but I haven't done
anything with that as I have WiFi access.
