Backups

I am probably in a different situation, but here is what I do for
backups:

I run Debian Etch on two old sun Ultras. I keep the software
identical on both. I use one as a workstation. When I do a backup,
I connect the second machine and use Unison to synch them. I
disconnect the second machine and I have not only a backup of my
files but an identical machine available in case of emergency.

I rescued these 2 machines from a dumpster for less than $5 for the 2
of them complete. I like them because I can run either headless with
no problems.
