USB on Linux

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that I have only ever had 1 port show up
as USB2, and _four_ show as USB1 - even though I have only four ports. 
Since all of them seem to function identically, I just assumed that you
only see one reported USB2 device, which just happens to have four
connections. Since USB1 and USB2 are handled through different drivers,
they aren't necessarily reported in the same way.
