reinstall lost config files?

"sudo apt-get --reinstall install [package]"
This will simply unpack the .deb again and configure it, you won't need
to mess with dependences.
You could do "sudo dpkg --unpack /path/to/package.deb" to just unpack it
again if you still have the .deb in /var/cache/apt/archives/
