Big problem.
My nVidia drivers have gone totally AWOL. It says they can't load them.
I tracked the source of the problem via dmesg to this:
[ 40.202973] processor: disagrees about version of symbol boot_cpu_data
[ 40.203026] processor: Unknown symbol boot_cpu_data
and later on:
[ 54.940734] nvidia: module license 'NVIDIA' taints kernel.
[ 54.941546] nvidia: disagrees about version of symbol boot_cpu_data
[ 54.941593] nvidia: Unknown symbol boot_cpu_data
[ 54.964599] nvidia: disagrees about version of symbol boot_cpu_data
[ 54.964652] nvidia: Unknown symbol boot_cpu_data
Needless to say I don't know what to do. I tried reinstalling the
nvidia kernel, however, that didn't work. Right now I'm using the "nv"
driver, but I'm missing my opengl support. Any suggestions about where
to begin fixing this would be really good.
