In order to play stuff than needs special codecs, you need to run the 32 bit
version of the app. And you can use the program "linux32" to trick the 64 bit
version to let you install it, then you need to do the same thing with all
the codecs you need.
Because this was such a hassle, I moved my 64 bit machine back to 32 bit
Ubuntu, and will be waiting for everything to go 64 bits before I jump back
on the wagon.
