archive's connection fails

LiveCD --> fix broken system --> use terminal to reset host. ( nano
/etc/hostname all that needs to be in the file is "ly-desktop" , w/o
quotes) not sure how it will effect user/password relative to
administrator and sudo ... may work fine, may need to boot CD a 2nd
time to fix that part, if still broken.
