Yea! At last I've got a confirmation that there is a
problem with mozilla browser playing embeds with
Kubauntu. It appears I was right that Kubuntu doesn't
support Mozilla browser or at least no one there uses
it very much. So glad you were able to confirm it.
Should I file a bug report with Kubuntu as it appears
to be distro related?

I believe thats how I got them. If I uninstall
mozilla-mplayer, I wouldn't have any plugins with
mplayerplug-in-wmp.so in it except mozplugger 1.7.1.
Guess I could purge mozilla-mplayer and see what
happens as it's not that hard to reinstall it. That
should keep me busy until I hear from Kevin DeKortes
about how to get the latest version of mplayerplug-in
unless you can provide a mirror that carries it. I
used source-o-matic and have all the Kubuntu morrors
to get all the extras but it's not there
.

I'm with you on this all the way. I guess I could get
used to firefox, or better swiftfox, but I don't like
them as much as mozilla browser. Agian, should I file
a bug report with Kubuntu. I've only used Debian and
Ubuntu/Kubuntu so I can't say that this wont happen
with other distrs. And it did happen with Debian Sid.
Maybe the next stop is mozilla users list, if I don't
get a solution here or with
mplayerplug-in-development. Been there before but its
been a long time ago.
I appreciate your input, Kelly. It's been helpful and
I'll try removing mozilla-mplayer and let everyone
know what happens.
