Epson Printer C86 ( head cleaning )

I had the same problem and tried several things to get it to work.
In the end I installed mtink - to run it just 'Alt + F2' to get the run 
dialogue and type 'mtink' without the quotes and hit enter or click Run.
You will have to choose your printer etc when you configure mtink for 
the first time.
