Unable to access DVD

you should edit /etc/fstab, and propably you will find similar line:

/dev/hdd        /media/cdrom0   udf,iso9660 user,noauto     0       0

You can try change it to the:


/dev/hdd        /media/cdrom0   udf,iso9660 user,noauto,mode=0555     0       
0
