Hi,

I had the same kind of problem with my M$
intelli-internet-wireless-explorer-stupid-name mouse : buttons on the
thumb were not activated correctly...
To have those 2 buttons OK, I had to change the mouse section in my
xorg.conf file. Key options were :

Option "ButtonMapping" "1 2 3 6 7"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "false"

Maybe you'd like to play with these options ?

Cheers
