hi everybody,

I am a newbie that just installed yersterday Xubuntu 6.10 on a toshiba laptop.

I have a concern with the screen resolution. Intially it was set up to 1600*1200 which was very inconvenient.

I tried to change it in system settings / ../ monitor display to 1024*768

However my update was not kept by the system and I have now a 800*600 resolution that I can't change anymore.

What should I do to  ?
