The package you need is kipi-plugins
http://packages.ubuntu.com/edgy/kde/kipi-plugins
these plugings can also be used in gwenview, KPhotoAlbum, and ShowImg

There`s already in Gwenwiev Show-menu tools like Gamma-correct, Brightness (+/-) and Contrasrt +/- without installing any plugins.
