SCIM and other language characters -- documentation?

Unfortunatly i still got the dot instead pictogramms in kde3.5.2
I tried the link i post few hours ago... And now I can input chinese in 
all apps... But in kde there is still the dot...
I can't try but last week i was on mandriva 2006 kde.3.4
and all characters where displayed :)
But I can't asure it's the problem
