More grief with Chinese characters :(

Right, firefox doesn't suffer from this. But when I do everything from
Konqueror it's a ral pain to have to open up Firefox just to see some
webpages. This problem was present in Breezy with KDE 3.4 and 3.5.1/2. But as
I said Knoppix 4 which is based on KDE 3.4 I think works absolutely perfectly
with all the default language setting set to English! I can only assume it's
a config problem in Ubuntu but I don't know where to look.
