Quanta questions

I am using Quanta myself and received the same message.  It seems there 
is something wrong with the Kubuntu package.  I simply went to the 
Quanta sourceforge page (http://sourceforge.net/projects/quanta) and 
downloaded the documents.  I then ran the tiny script which installed 
them into a /usr directory.
