You're right - the parts that are common in apt-get and aptitude _mostly_
have the same interface, except for a few fixes to the kludgy stuff in
apt-get :-) (e.g., aptitude purge ... instead of apt-get --purge remove).
And the aptitude gui's only redeeming feature is that it's better than
dselect :-)
