Dapper. Exceptionally buggy phase?

Is it just me., or is Dapper going through one of those exceptionally
buggy phases that affect development versions of Linux distros?

I'm used to that, but it seems a bit late in the development phase for
this to be happening.

KDE is tremendously slow to start and applications often momentarily
freeze.  Konqueror continually crashes on web sites and akregator locks
up on occasion and I get an error message whenever I attempt log out of
KDE (these are just a few.examples).

I'd file bug reports but I'd spend most of my day doing so.

Dapper wasn't anything like this a few weeks ago.  This reminds me of
how it was back in December (which made perfect sense then).
