USB device permissions

Exactly.  imo, it's a bad idea to put USB devices in /etc/fstab, but people
keep doing it.

If you're using an Ubuntu version with udev (dapper for sure, breezy maybe,
hoary - I don't think so) see /etc/udev/permissions.d/
