As some may know by now, Windows butchered my hard disk with its
incredibly stupid NTFS filesystem, this time killing other partitions
along with it.
So I had to reinstall after using a live-cd to salvage (more like
evacuate) my data to a USB drive, where it currently awaits the
reinstall to finish. So I - liking Dapper more than Breezy - burnt a
copy of the Dapper Install CD (i386). I wasn't prepared for what
awaited me.
They redesigned the first screen you see during install. I wouldn't
be terribly suprised if in another 6 months we see the rest of the
install process GUI-ified. When 6.04 rolls out, it may be worth a
reinstall - it's really impressive! I was expecting the plain, bland
Debian installer and man...

just inputted some stuff for the repartitioning of my drive - which
means good-bye to Windows. I just screamed "DIE WINDOWS!" and felt so
good... you have no idea... after using windows for the past
decade...
