well this is where i have downloaded it from, check it out:

http://ubuntu.c3sl.ufpr.br/releases/kubuntu/5.10/kubuntu-5.10-install-i386.iso

the size of the iso archive is 640MB
I didnt actually continue after that error.
I'll try to do it now.
