Hi, I'm a beginner user of Kubuntu I download and install the last version 6.06 with kernel 2.6.15 on my laptop Acer Aspire 1603LC with
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.6Ghz Memory: 512Mb Screen: 15" TFT, handles 1024x768 at depth 24 Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 (RV250 LF) Hard drive: 30Gb Sound: SiS7012 DVD/CD-RW: MATSHITA UJDA740 Ethernet: Realtek RTL-8139 Modem: SiS7013 56k Other: 4 USB ports, Firewire, Windows XP Home as standard
On the PC is installed win XP HE

The installation going good except for the configuration of the network, i work in a network with a router who assign the IP adress (dhcp mode) during the loading of operating sistem the messag says that the network is ok and on the setting of Control panel I can see that the network interface work good.

What can I do?
Is possible use the integrate modem?
thank you very much
Regards
Gianluca
