Compiling exiv2 from source

The makefile is blackholing the compile error, which you need to see if 
you're gonna work out what's going wrong.  Run:

 cd ~/Desktop/KPhotoAlbum/exiv2-0.9.1/src
 g++ -g -O2 -Wall -MMD -I. -c panasonicmn.cpp -o panasonicmn.o

and see what that produces.
