Forcing KMail to stop trying to use KDE Wallet?

Unless I'm missing something here, can't you just configure Kwallet 
(System Settings -> Security & Privacy) like so:

 [ ] Close when unused for    N min
 [ ] Close when screensaver starts
 [ ] Close when last application stops using it

That way Kwallet should open once at startup and (unless you log out) 
never hassle you again.  (I've not tried this, mind.  KWallet may 
thwart your efforts some other way even with these settings.)
