gamma

Hi,
Try adding a line of the form:
Gamma 2.6 0.84 3.0
to the Monitor section of your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file.
I haven't tried this specifically on kubuntu, but it certainly worked
on older versions of X so I don't see why it shouldn't work.
The three parameters are your red, green and blue gamma values.
If all three parameters have the same value, you can supply just one parameter instead.

I used to use kgamma to set and my gamma-settings. With dapper/kde3.5.3 it's
looks like there is a new tool in system-settings. But it doesn't store my
setting, so every time I log in, I have to set the gamma again. Is there a
fix to this issue?
I've tried to install kgamma, but it doesn't show up anywhere.
