Upgrading a Mepis system

Stick with SimplyMEPIS. The Dapper-based 6.0 final is due out on June
18. It's a much better KDE implementation than Kubuntu. Should be able
to do a standard MEPIS upgrade install and preserve /home. Of course,
backups are recommended, and YMMV.
