Adding repositories to Adept

I just installed 6.06 (nice work).  I added kde 3.5.3 repositories by copying 
the repository information provided in the release announcement this week and 
then refreshed.

The 3.5.3 packages don't appear as updates or in any kind of kde package when 
all packages are listed.

What do I have to do to get these packages to appear in Adept?  How about the 
more general question of new content appearing after adding a repository?
