a most annoying difference between Ubuntu Gnome & Kubuntu

Hello,

I wanted to give a try since you said it works...

So I think I installed all the packages mentioned in that thread, but then, 
how can I use the gnome VFS in OOo? When I press Ctrl-O I still have the KDE 
open file dialog box (which is quite convenient most of the time, so I don't 
want to lose it either).
