    I took a look at the Mepis site you supplied, and at least to me, it 
seems that people with money get a better product over people who can 
not afford the same.  I have always disliked this attitude in the Open 
Source world.  With Kubuntu, everyone gets the same product and if you 
can not afford to spend money then you can help in other ways.
